Cr Tait is semi-retired, married with three daughters and one son. Actively involved with many local community groups and organisations including Inglewood Little Theatre, Inglewood Lions Club, Inglewood Shire Regional Arts Development Fund Chairperson.
Cr Tait was elected to Council in 2004, his goals while on Council is to promote our Shire as a whole to locals and all visiting people, showcasing the benefits of our great lifestyle.
